THE LEGEND OF THE JINN:

The Jinn were created from a smokeless flame of fire. In Arabian and Muslim folklore Jinns are ugly and evil demons having supernatural powers which they can bestow upon persons having no powers to call on them. In Islam, Jinns are fiery spirits (Qur'an 55.15) particularly associated with the desert.

“And the Jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire”
Qur’an Ar-Rahmaan 55:15

For the ancient Semites, Jinn were spirits of vanished ancient peoples who acted during the night and disappeared with the first light of dawn.

The Jinn are said to inhabit caves, graveyards, deserts, wilderness, and the underground.

The Jinn in their natural state are too horrific for mankind to see, they are ugly, evil demons that posses supernatural powers.

In Islamic traditions, the Jinn are lower beings than humans and angels, and were made to bow before Adam. However, the Jinn began to disobey God because they believed themselves to be self-righteous. For that reason, God sent his Angels to destroy them.  Some of the Jinn became bitter and resentful towards man and Allah.
