Film started to become an obsession for David his junior year of high school when he took note of Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket. After graduating high school, he enrolled in the Film Studies Department of Santa Barbara City College and took all the classes offered so he could be en-route to becoming a Film Critic. However, in all the analyzing and theory, he took a particular interest in the art of Cinematography when he studied Gordon Willis's work on The Godfather.

After completing his third semester at SBCC, he enrolled at The Los Angeles Film School. David majored in Cinematography and Directing and minored in Producing. At the film school, he began to learn and tweak all the rules of cinematography and it was there that he developed his style and look. He received an honorary award with his reel when it was chosen to be screened at the schools annual exposure screening in which the school opens their doors to all industry players to network with the industry's rising talent. Now with a few features, shorts, music videos, TV pilots, and webisodes under his belt, David is on his way to becoming an established cinematographer in the industry. He is also interested in completing a masters in Business.
David Glazer is a California native born in Santa Monica and grew up in Brentwood. At age 5 his family moved to Westlake Village where he spent elementary through high school. He spent his time as an athlete at Westlake High School and started as the Center on the Boys Basketball team and a Middle Blocker on the Boys Volleyball team. He also played on numerous club teams and competed in the Junior Olympics in 2004 and 2005 for Boys Volleyball.
